Greater Manchester Learning Disability Joint Training Partnership

DETAILS OF MEASURABLE OUTCOMES:

1. Mapping of existing training provision across services for people with learning disabilities within health, social care and other specialist and generic services.
   
2. Development and implementation of Greater Manchester-wide training programme addressing those needs that can best be met regionally and issues of economy of scale and shared learning.
   
3. An increased amount of training available and therefore an increased number of trained people within the workforce.
   
4. Development of effective, inclusive local joint training groups operating within all Learning Disability Partnership Boards.
   
5. Development of training pathways for all staff working within services for people with learning disabilities.
